What does '3-step dimming' mean on this pendant light?
The 3-step dimming on the Aureon adjusts the colour temperature between warm white (3000K), neutral white (4500K), and cool white (6000K) using your existing wall switch, no smart hub or special dimmer required. It does not change the brightness level, only the tone of the light.
How high should I hang the Aureon pendant light?
For living rooms and bedrooms, a ceiling height of 2.4 m or above works well. Hang the base of the shade roughly 180–200 cm from the floor for general ambient use, or lower if using it over a reading chair or bedside area. The cord length is adjustable at installation.
Does the spotlight underneath the main shade make a noticeable difference to the light output?
Yes. The small cylindrical G9 spotlight beneath the shade adds a focused downward beam that supplements the ambient light reflected from the inner surface of the iron shade. Together they cover between 32 and 54 square feet, making the Aureon practical for mid-sized rooms rather than purely decorative.
