The Tsuki is a hand-carved yellow travertine pebble suspended above an exposed filament bulb on a dark braided textile cord. A turned walnut wood bead sits between cord and stone — a small handcrafted detail that completes the composition. It suits bedside pendants hung in pairs, reading nooks, kitchen islands, and any space where a single point of warm, directional light is the intention.

Tsuki is hand-carved from natural travertine. Each stone is shaped by geological time — its porous surface, amber veining, and warm fossil texture are entirely determined by nature. No two pieces are identical. Variations in tone, texture, and patterning are inherent to the material and considered part of the object.

It is a deliberate design choice. The filament glows beneath the travertine like a lantern, and the stone acts as a natural counterpoint of weight and texture above it. The result is a sculptural composition rather than a conventional shade — the light and the material work together, not against each other.

Yes. The Tsuki is designed to work well in pairs. Hung at matched or slightly varied heights, two pendants create a considered, balanced arrangement. This works particularly well above a kitchen island, a dining table for two, or as bedside pendants on either side of a bed.

A warm white exposed filament bulb — E27 fitting — suits the Tsuki best. The amber tone of the filament complements the natural warmth of the travertine, and the visible bulb is part of the aesthetic. A colour temperature of 2200K to 2700K is recommended for the most natural, calm light quality.
