How many pendants do I need for a kitchen island?
For a standard kitchen island up to 150 cm long, one 3-light Aureon works well centred above the surface. For longer islands or a more spaced look, two or three 1-light units hung in a row at roughly 60 cm intervals give a clean, considered result.
What bulb type and colour temperature work best with this pendant?
The Aureon uses a standard E27 socket and is compatible with most LED bulbs. A warm white bulb at 2700K–3000K brings out the warmth of the gold and black finishes, while a neutral white at 3000K–4000K pairs well with the chrome finish in kitchens or bars.
Does the crystal glass shade affect the quality or direction of the light?
Yes. The high-transparency crystal glass refracts the light outward and downward, creating a soft scattered glow with subtle sparkle around the shade. This works particularly well over dining tables and bar areas where layered, ambient lighting is preferred over direct task lighting.
