The Yomi is carved from a single cylinder of yellow travertine — not a panel, not a veneer, but the stone itself acting as the shade. When the bulb is lit, warm light travels through the material, revealing pores and veins formed over millennia and casting an amber glow that belongs entirely to that piece of stone. Available as a single pendant in two heights or in multi-head configurations from two to fifteen cylinders, it brings quiet, geological presence to kitchen islands, dining spaces, and considered interiors.

Each Yomi cylinder is cut from natural travertine, meaning the pore pattern, veining, and tone will vary between pieces. No two cylinders are identical. This variation is inherent to the stone and considered part of the character of the light.

For a standard kitchen island, a cluster of two or three Yomi cylinders works well — spaced evenly along the length of the surface. For longer islands or open dining areas, four or five cylinders can create a more considered, architectural arrangement. The multi-head configurations are designed to be ordered as a set and share a single ceiling canopy.

The 25 cm cylinder is more compact, suited to lower ceilings, bedside pendants, or spaces where a quieter presence is preferred. The 35 cm cylinder carries more visual weight and emits a slightly broader spread of light through its greater stone depth. Both use the same E27 fitting and share the same natural travertine character.

Because the Yomi is a hollowed cylinder of solid travertine rather than a stone-effect cover, the warm light from the E27 bulb passes through the natural pores and thinner sections of the stone wall itself. The glow that reaches the room is shaped by the stone's own geological structure — softer and more amber in denser areas, warmer and more open where the stone is more porous.

A compact cylinder suited to bedside pendants, lower ceilings, or spaces where a quieter, more contained presence is wanted. The shorter form draws less visual weight while retaining the full travertine character of the stone.

The taller cylinder suits dining tables, kitchen islands used individually, or any space that benefits from a stronger vertical form. The additional height allows more of the stone's natural veining to be visible when lit.

Clusters of two to three suit standard kitchen islands or dining surfaces. Larger configurations from four upward are suited to open-plan spaces, commercial interiors, or statement ceiling installations where each stone cylinder contributes its own distinct geological pattern.

The warm amber tone of yellow travertine pairs naturally with raw linen, aged oak, matte ceramic, and pale plaster walls. The Yomi sits quietly within Japandi and Wabi-Sabi interiors where texture and material honesty are central to the room.
